As a native of Washington State. It was quite the sight for me to witness such massive wild insects on my travels across the country. In particular, this Pale Swallowtail butterfly, that seemed to thoroughly enjoy showing off to me in it's lilting trip about my hike, gave me all the time I needed to endlessly photograph it . And I was just as amazed by, it as I was happy to have it's image for later use.
